Dear Diary. Today was probably the first time I almost ”cheated” on you and felt like not putting the wod in print.
Obviously slapped my self and realized this is my training notes, not a bragging forum.
Hoping today’s embarrassing result had something to do with me being completely smashed from Monday’s workouts and that the earlier presses for strength somehow drained my pressing ability.
No excuses however, I just died during the second round of HSPUs and after that I was actually laughing at my self. At least I finished…
Morning session of levers, good stuff to have in the program! Lunch strength session felt ok, ugly cleans but actually felt quite light. At least until the last set when I was seriously doubting my self.
Awkward in the over head position with strict presses, need to get back in the game here. Had 85kg over head but couldn’t lock elbows, next time.
Think I need to up my calories, as smashed as I’ve been since the first ”3 a day”-wod is a clear sign of not recovering properly and I think some extra dairy will help with that. Also need to make sure I eat a lot during the recover days, which wasn’t the case yesterday.
