A. Technique, 5 rounds ozm: 1 High Hang Clean, 1 Hang Clean & 1 Split Jerk @ 70kg
B1. 5 * 5 Power Cleans @ 89 kg
B2. 5 * Max HSPU’s, +20cm: 5/5/3/4/3
Focuses on throwing my self back/up in the technique part, actually too much on the second round, (see vid). Felt decent though.
Power Cleans was of course really heavy for me. More like 184.108.40.206.1-cluster than 5 conseq reps. Considering I missed the very second rep, I feel satisfied that I did get that weight up 25 times, however ugly it was.
HSPU’s felt ok, struggling to keep midsection so next time it will be nose to wall-style. Shoulder don’t really like it too much, but hasn’t stiffened up yet either.
Hoping that my body has won the battle with the 3 latest mornings with sore throat, feels ok now and heart rate didn’t go through the roof on the 5by5’s. Will try it out with a couple of dreaded metcons in a couple of hours, should be fun.
