For some reason a power shortage decided to close my connection to internet and I’m in no mood to act handy man so here is just a short report…
10.30 am, WOD Part 1
A. Build up to Max Power Snatch in 13 minutes:
52/2, 61/1, 70/1, 75/1, 79/F
B. Build up to Max Clean & Jerk in 12 minutes:
84/1, 93/1, 102/F, 102/F Jerk(!?)
Chose power version of Snatch cause shoulders was a bit spent from Wednesday and bottom pos of snatch was not good at all. Got pissed when I missed first Clean at 102, re-did it and dropped the Jerk behind me!? First time ever, that I can remember anyway, that I’ve missed a jerk after cleaning it…
3.45 pm, WOD Part 2, Sectional Open WOD #2
15 min AMRAP:
- 9 Deadlifts @ 70 kg
- 12 Games Style Push Ups
- 15 Box Jumps @ 60cm
Score: 10 Rounds + 9 Deads + 3 PshU’s = 372p
Same as first one. Not unhappy with the score really, just not able to push my self in the 100% max effort zone I’m looking for. Was too afraid of hitting that wall and that slowed me down a lot in the middle. Good speed in the beginning, 5 rounds in about 6’30 mins, then slow and then sprinted towards the end. Broke PshU’s 7/5 from the start and 6/4/2 in the end just to not hit failure. Box Jumps unbroken, except for 2 sloppy misses, deads unbroken and easy.
Should really be able to get 1-2 more rounds in this one..
However, I do have one positive note: my shoulder seem to be able to handle heavy OL again and even after 123 Games Styles PshU’s, I have no pain so far. Knock on wood.
Anyway, tomorrow is another day and I can only keep on promising my self to push harder and harder and eventually I will be able to hit that zone whenever I want to. By the way: Sweet potato is the sh#t! Never felt more energized during this long kind of metcon and not even close to muscle failure anywhere!
